A Most Fulfilling Vacation

Hi Bob,

Well what can I say, Absolutely Fantastic! Had a great time but it was a shame our kids had to stay at school and I also had to leave a little early due to work commitments. The drive fromTacloban was beautiful and the Limestone formations in the areas from Basey to Guiuan were quite a surprise. The Villa is great and Michele is such an asset there. She was actually really happy that my wife was pilipina and really surprised that she was waray also. Michele, Christine and my wife got on like a house on fire and really had a great time with each other. so much so I think christine might go and visit her in Calbayog for their local Fiesta.

The fish farm was a really enjoyable day out. They cooked us up a big feast, I took out a case of beer and we just waited around hoping we could see the monkeys, which we saw numerous times. Edgar is a Fantastic guy and one of the most polite pinoys I have ever met. It was a pleasure and an honour to be there.

My real Highlight was going out fishing for Tuna, which we had no luck catching but we were lucky enough to catch a 6 foot marlin instead, which was very impressive and I still have a grin from ear to ear when I think about that morning. It was an early start but well worth it as the sunrise was amazing and the weather was very pleasant. And as for the sunsets! what can be said that hasnt already been mentioned before.

This was my first time to the pacific coast and eastern samar and I must say that it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in the Philippines. I have been to most places but the Guiuan area is amazing. It was well worth the effort to get there.

Thanks for the opportunity to visit this area Bob. It was the most fullfilling vacation I have had in a long time

Cheers,

Chris

At Villa Pacific you forget you are so close to the deepest ocean in the world the Marianos trench also known as the challenger deep. Scientists regularly dive in the trench and come up with new species on a regular basis. So its not surprising that our guests go fishing and come back with a moster catch. Who knows whats down there in the south pacific, challenger deep. We hear stories of boats being towed by fish that never broke the surface and just broke the line. I have scuba dived with Manta rays, Dolphins and huge shoals of fish but one thing for sure is, there is always something around the next coral head that you have never seen before. Fishing, surfing, scuba diving, island hopping by canoe are all available at Villa Pacific, the beach house rental with adventure at its doorstep.

Thanks for your comment Chris and we look forward to seeing you again in the south pacific villa rental.
