Two Months of Memories
Dear Bob.
It has been about a month since we left Villa Pacific and Calicoan Island.
It already seems like a long time ago...
Our two months stay in the Philippines was absolutely fantastic and in so many ways exceeded our expectations.
Michelle assisted us in every way possible, and she made it easier to understand the Philipino lifestyle, culture and everyday life. Without her help and caring our holiday would not have been as fantastic as it was. After two months with taking care of us, we hope that she in not totally exhausted!
Our children, as you predicted, made lots of new friends. The local children were very sweet and our children really enjoyed their company. Our two eldest girls learned to snorkel. Some days they spent more time in, than out of the water. With the help of Tyrone, Johns son, caught all sorts of fish and insects. They also managed to catch a Nemo fish which you can imagine was very popular :) The Beach is perfect for small children.
On our first trips to the village, we had about 30 Philipino children following us (It was kind of fun), but after a while they got used to the children’s blond hair and white skin and we did not cause so much commotion. We went to the fish market almost every Sunday!
We have eaten a lot of delicious exotic meals that Michelle prepared for us, a variety of fish, shark, turtle, octopus, chicken, pig....
Although our main goal was to relax we also did some trips around in the local area. We naturally had quite a few trips to Guiuan. We also visited a number of caves, beaches, Yoga center, Pearl Island and other things.
During our stay we really got the opportunity to relax and spend quality time together. It is a luxury in our everyday life that at times is dominated by stress and lack of time for each other

We know how much you tried to integrate during your stay at the beach house, even during our last visit in June the kids in the village told us how much fun the children were and asked if you were coming back to the beach villa, you made quite an impression and left a legacy that won\'t be forgotten
